STS 3D came up with an idea of making a barring program where a minner will learn how to bar and spot Geological features in the mine. The program runs on a computer using mouse and keyboard as main input devices. The program has a learning mode and assessment mode to assess the minner to see if they are competent or not. I was the main programer of the simulation and worked closely with a 3D artist who did all the 3D scenes and textures.
